How Pitch Works
Pitch Social is an events app for doing what you want to do, with people who enjoy those things too.
Pitch improves the way people connect and make plans with others online so they can enjoy more time offline.
Your Home Feed
Events will be labeled for Dates or Friends (and you’ll only see what fits your preferences)
Tap “Interested” to Like the event and send a Message if you’d like
Use the 3-dot circle in the event image to share an event
Explore Around You
This is where you can see all kinds of Events and People near you
You’ll see Public Events like food festivals, concerts, and art galleries
Creating an event lets people discover your event here too

We’ve curated a thousand templates from years of experience in LA and NYC, so you’ll find fun ideas in every activity category
It takes a couple clicks to post to Community, or directly to another person
Your Activity Hub
Tap the drawer to see who’s interested, match with people, and message
Click “view” on the image thumbnail to see the full event card
Navigate to “Events” to see public concerts and plans you’ve matched on
Talk with People
Your chat is related to the Event that it originated from, so you’re able to click through to that Event and the other person’s Profile too

Find Your Type
Select your distance filter and age preferences
Choose who you’re looking for: Pitch is for dating, finding friends, or both
Please note that during soft launch our current minimum distance is large
Let’s Be Friends
Use Pitch for only Friendship? Dates with = None
Choose who you would like to make friends with :)
If you are not seeking dates, nobody will be able to pitch you dates, and you will only see friend events (and vise-versa:)
Unmatch
Swipe left on the message thread and press “x” to unmatch
Block or Report
Whether you’re just no longer interested, or need to block and report somebody
Find these actions at the bottom of profiles
They’ll soon appear on a messaging screen menu
