3 Ways You Can Use Pitch

1. Find someone to go with

Make a Plan that is authentic to you. Your event should consist of the stuff you really like to do, with the goal of finding someone just as hype to experience it with you. People you’re compatible with can like your event, and include a message why you should choose them.

From the list of people interested in going with you, you’ll be able to match and conversate with up to three people at a time. When on Pitch, we encourage you to be intentional with your time and relationships, so choose the three people you think you’ll really vibe with, and take it from there.

2. Shoot your shot

Find cool humans, explore Communities, and make connections by directly pitching a plan. You’ll find people looking for the same kind of connections as you in Communities (friendship or dates, within each of your preferences). From there, click into somebody’s Profile to check out what they’re all about, then pitch them a plan to initiate the connection. This makes conversations oriented towards actually meeting in the real world, not stuck in an endless loop of texts. Pitch is for making real plans, not for pen pals.

Add Friends! Navigate to your Friends tab, next to your own Profile, to easily pitch plans directly to your current circle of friends. Find an awesome concert on Pitch? Always been curious about riding the tramway to Roosevelt Island? Finally got tickets to that broadway show? Start an intentional conversation thread about it, and make real plans!

3. Discover things to do

Browse your Home and Explore feeds for activities in your area. Find and like other people’s events! Amazing, unique events are created by people using Pitch every day. You’ll also discover curated public events like concerts, comedy shows and galleries in Pitch’s event Pools, and cool people interested in those events too. Or, just share it directly with a friend on Pitch to turn your plans into reality.
