We believe we can reinvent the matchmaking system and solve the following problems:
It is difficult to meet new people (make friends/find dates) as an adult
Swiping on dating apps has become superficial (hot or not)
Conversations lack direction or purpose (you just say “hey” and “how are you?” and “when are you free?” until one of you gets back together with your ex)
People aren’t going out or making real plans as a result of conversing
We realized that the physical world is sacred and wanted to use technology to connect people to others, who are also living the life they love, but we didn’t want to build just another swipe swipe app. We wanted to build something that joins taking action with the ability to connect in a meaningful way.

Everything on Pitch is event-based. So if you’re only looking to meet new friends, you’ll only see friend-events (not dates).

Meet others in public areas. We want our community to be safe and always recommend exercising caution when meeting with connections made through online channels.
We offer our users reporting and blocking tools and encourage active reporting of bad actors to keep our community accountable and as safe as possible.
